MEDICARE PART D PLAN FOR 2010?
If you made a change in
your Medicare Part D Plan for this year,
here is some important information that
we received from the Social Security
Administration. This applies to
recipients who elected to have the
premium withheld from their social
security checks.
All the
statements that went out in December
were printed on November 15th. This
means that most likely none of the
printed statements will correctly
indicate a recipient's premium
information for December, unless he
or she opted to stay with the same
plan.
If you
enrolled early enough, there is a
possibility that your check may be
figured correctly, even though your
printed statement might be
inaccurate.
Clients
need to remember it may take until
March to get the systems coordinated
and the have correct premium amount
deducted from their Social Security
benefit checks.

incorrectly at that time, we will be
